Sourced from north- to northeast-facing plots at 2,200 feet of elevation, the 2020 Sparkling Pinot Noir Alder Springs Vineyard is beautifully soft-textured and supple. There is an immediate sense of structure, but it’s wrapped in sweet Pinot spice and caressing fruit. Red cherry and blood orange notes unfold gradually, carrying through to a long, poised finish that sizzles with focus. Dosage is 2 grams per liter. Disgorged: May 2024.

The 2020 Sparkling Pinot Noir Alder Springs Vineyard was harvested in mid-August, and the wine was disgorged in May of 2024. It opens with singular herbal tones reminiscent of chaparral and sage before segueing to ripe peach, brioche, almonds and flint, flavors echoed on the palate. Dry with gently honeyed flavors, it offers creamy, well-integrated mousse and a long, nuanced finish.
