The 2023 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard is redolent of dark blue/purplish fruit, lavender, spice, licorice and dried herbs. Deceptive in its mid-weight personality, the 2023 is a pretty powerful, tightly wound young Pinot. Strong floral and savory top notes from the 50% stems explode on the back end. Give this time to soften. There's no shortage of substance.
