The 2023 Zinfandel Saitone Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1895, and the wine was matured for 13 months in 23% new French oak. It bursts from the glass with intense aromas of red and black cherries and plums, blueberries, violet, aniseed and cigar box. The full-bodied palate features concentrated, succulent flavors, and its elevated alcohol is well integrated. It’s framed by grainy tannins and juicy acidity and has a long, spicy finish. 430 cases were made.
