2005 ZD Wines Cabernet Sauvignon

ZD’s 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa (from this winery that has been around longer than I have) is a seductive, lush, fruit-driven wine with a deep ruby/plum color, with some pink lightening at the edge. It is very soft, juicy, round, sexy, and best drunk over the next 4-5 years. ZD tends to use completely American oak, but it doesn’t seem at all aggressive in these wines. This medium to full-bodied wine, for a lack of a better expression, is delicious.
