2019 Pierre Gimonnet Special Club Brut Cuis 1er Cru

The 2019 Extra Brut Special Club Cuis 1er Cru is rich, creamy and super-expressive right out of the gate. All of the solar intensity of the year is on display. The 2019 emerges from two lieux-dits in Cuis: Croix-Blanche (90%) and Les Roualies (10%). Even as an Extra Brut, and with its recent disgorgement, this is a pretty rich style for Gimonnet. Hints of tangerine peel, white flowers and pastry linger on the resonant finish. Dosage is 4 grams per liter. Disgorged: September 2024.
