A blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 11% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Malbec, the 2021 Red Blend Rindo offers darker berry fruits, plums, leafy herbs, and chocolaty oak nuances. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a dense mid-palate, chewy texture, and concentrated profile, this needs 3-4 years of bottle age to gain elegance and will drink nicely for 10-12 years.

Enzo's entry-level 2021 Rindo Red Wine is a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 11% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec aged in 50% new French oak. Notes of cedar bark, dark earth, black cherries and black olives mark the nose, while the full-bodied palate is sturdy and a bit more muscular and tannic than either of the higher-end bottlings but without the same richness, depth or elegance on the finish.
Full bottle 1,404 g. 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 11% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec. Aged in French oak barrels, 50% new, 50% neutral. Very dark crimson. More lifted and refreshing than the Ai bottling. Good dry, quite tannic finish. Sappy and very dry. Lots of tension – and tannins – here. (JR)
