Sourced entirely from Coombsville's Meteor Vineyard, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon 88 Keys is another example of why it would be foolhardy to write off this vintage. Gently leafy, complex and vibrant, it offers up ripe cassis notes backed by ample richness and supple tannins. Full-bodied, it's dense and concentrated without seeming at all heavy, finishing long and refreshing. Impressive.

Sourced from Meteor vineyard in Coombsville. Matured in 100% new oak. Inky deep ruby with a touch of garnet. Spicy cedary oak with dense black fruit. Chocolatey powdery tannin. Power, weight and richness. The oak is present but not overdone. Long, dry, spicy finish. Already pretty approachable. (SCJ)
