2005 Lynmar Pinot Noir Quail Hill Vineyard

Bright red. Intense raspberry, strawberry, cherry and rose aromas display liqueur-like depth and intensity; picks up smoke and fresh meat qualities with air. Fleshy and dense but with impressive lift to the ripe red and dark fruit flavors. Expands and deepens on the sweet, supple, inviting finish. These are old Swan clones, probably planted in 1972, according to Chappelle.
