2012 Merry Edwards Sauvignon Blanc

Pale bright yellow. Restrained but pure aromas of grapefruit pith, ginger and peppery herbs. Supple and plush for sauvignon, even a bit sweet, with a texture that reminded me of chardonnay. Shows a slightly herbal character but I still wanted a bit more cut and varietal lift.
