The 2019 Irancy Veaupessiot contains a little new oak as this was a slightly larger volume. It is quite similar to the Les Cailles on the nose with redcurrant and raspberry fruit, touches of rose petal and sous-bois . The palate is very poised with a silky smooth entry, lightly spiced with a dash of white pepper towards the finish that lingers tenderly in the mouth. Bon vin. Tasted at the domaine.

The high point of the range this year is the 2019 Irancy Veaupessiot, a medium to full-bodied, ample and seamless wine that exhibits aromas of cherries, wild berries and creamy spices. Lively and nicely balanced, it's a compelling wine from the Richoux family.
