Floral and pretty on the nose, the 2023 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard is a beautiful wine, with a strength of grippy tannin that will unfurl well over time. Purple plum, gravelly wet stone, and even a hint of sea spray give it an intriguing mid-palate of medium-bodied richness and girth, finishing with abundant freshness and grace. Enjoy best 2026-2033. Clarice is Adam Lee’s SLH-focused wine brand, named for his grandmother.

Tasted prior to its August bottling date, the 2023 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard is a pure, lively and elegant expression of the vintage. It combines the plush richness of the house style with a structured, brooding core surrounded by fresh, vibrant acidity. This evolved rapidly in the glass, and I look forward to sampling it again from bottle.
Tasted from tank as an assembled blend before bottling, the 2023 Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard is a deeply spiced, floral, mineral-driven red. Tight and tannic, the 2023 is a sleeping giant right now, expressive as all get out on the nose but wound up like a ball of rubber bands in the mouth. Time, time, time.
The 2023 Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard is open and generous but also seriously structured, with ultra-refined chalky tannins and stunning purity of fruit. Crushed rocks, iron, chaparral herbs and floral tones deepen Rosella’s usual red-fruit-driven personality. This is a beautifully elegant Pinot Noir, with such a deep, soulful character and a nod to old-school structure that I find wildly appealing. Bravo.
