From Sonoma Mountain, the 2023 Chardonnay One Sky Vineyard pours a bright yellow/straw color and is spicy on the nose with aromas of toasted baking spice, peach, pineapple, hazelnut, and orange oils. The palate is full-bodied, with a clean, glycerin texture and notes of beeswax on the finish. It has a more opulent feel and is likely to improve with another 6-12 months in bottle. Drink 2026-2036.

The 2023 Chardonnay One Sky Vineyard is laced with apricot, ginger and spice. A concentrated wine, the One Sky is quite rich, almost tropical at times. Readers will find a phenolic Chardonnay of real depth and pedigree. Proprietor Bill Price’s Sonoma Mountain site yields wines that are incredibly distinctive.
