Note di degustazione
Based on 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petite Verdot and aged in 85% new French oak, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon GEO offers attractive aromatics of mulled red and black fruits, incense, Asian spices, and sweet tobacco. It's medium-bodied, nicely textured, plump, round, and lush on the palate, with plenty of mid-palate depth and ripe tannins. It's another solid 2022 that has tons to love and should keep for 7-8 years. Drink 2025-2033.

Full bottle 1,623 g. 98% Cabernet Sauvignon 2% Petit Verdot. Matured in French oak, 85% new. NHB. Deep inky ruby. Rich blackcurrant nose with a light spice – classic. Broad, rich and full with balancing acidity and very rounded, plush tannin. Slightly sweet finish – perhaps a couple grams of sugar? Simple, but incredibly approachable. (SCJ)
More tannic and concentrated, Silverado's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Geo represents a selection of the best lots from the winery's Coombsville vineyard. Hints of crushed stone and cracked pepper join pencil shavings in accenting deep black cherries and cassis on the nose, while the full-bodied wine is richly textured, with a long, velvety finish.
Enticing, opulent dark fruit flavors and a posh, velvety texture make this wine easy to indulge in. Smooth tannins wrap around dark chocolate, black cherry, blackcurrant and spearmint notes. Drink now or hold.
