2022 Relic Pinot Noir Silver Eagle

The 2022 Pinot Noir Silver Eagle has a deeper magenta but clear hue. It’s fruity and inviting on the nose, with fresh, pure notes of ripe black raspberries, red berries, fresh flowers, and sweet earth. The palate is plush and inviting, with medium body feel but broader shoulders, a long finish, and a rounder feel. It retains a lovely freshness and is going to have a wide drinking window over the coming 15 years. It was aged for 11 months in 38% new French oak. Relic is owned and operated by husband and wife duo, Mike Hirby and Schatzi Throckmorton.
