The one-hectare parcel constituting the 2021 Chablis Valmur Grand Cru yielded five barrels this year. This also has a heavy reduction; it’s quite yeasty at the moment. The palate is well-balanced with a marine-influenced entry, flecks of white chocolate complementing the citrus fruit with a longer finish than the Blanchot. A captivating sour lemon finish is mixed with orange rind on the aftertaste, completing an excellent Chablis that will age over many years.
