Note di degustazione
Racy, lively, lean and tight, with lots of black raspberry, sappy flowers and violets and a touch of passion fruit, the medium-bodied, fresh and elegant 2014 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido N Block has the polish to drink nicely today, yet there's solid underlying structure and vibrancy as well. A word of warning, this is a leaner styled Pinot Noir and lovers of tons of fruit and texture should look elsewhere. Give it a few years in the cellar and enjoy bottles through 2024+.

The 2014 Pinot Noir Bien Nacido Vineyard - N Block, from a parcel planted on own-rooted vines, shows all the eccentric aromatic nuance and wildness that is so typical of the Martini clone. Blood orange, pomegranate and rose petal give the N Block much of its raciness and complexity. Succulent and textured on the palate, the 2014 is super-impressive today. There's a lot going on in the glass, that much is obvious.
