The largest part of the domaine is in Chambolle and goes from the Bourgogne below the road, up through les Nazoires and les Condemennes to the premier cru parcel in Charmes. Transparent garnet. Some sweetness on the start and good balance and grip. But is it really worth the money? (JR)

The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Village offers light red berry fruit on the nose, fine delineation, nothing complex but it has a carefree charm. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit and fine definition, though it clams up towards the finish. Therefore, afford this 2-3 years in bottle so that it can spread its wings.
Cask sample. Heady and rather lusciously fruited on the nose. Sweet fruit but a bit candified too. Grainy tannins. Perhaps it just needs time to charm? (JR)
