An inky red color, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Oliver Ranch is entirely Cabernet Sauvignon. It leads with savory and rocky notes of gravelly earth, pencil lead, blackcurrants, sage, tobacco, and layered spices. It’s full and inviting, taking on a savory and deep feel with hints of almost Syrah-like notes of olive and dark stones, rich tannin structure, and a long finish. Drink 2026-2050.

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Oliver Ranch, matured for 22 months in 80% new French oak, has alluring aromas of black cherry jam, cast iron, nutmeg, aniseed and violet. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled with bright, nuanced flavors. It’s structured by powdery tannins and seamless acidity and has a long, layered finish. It unfurls dramatically with air and will benefit from several years in the cellar. 350 cases were made.
