2015 Vina de Amalio

The top-of-the-range 2015 La Viña de Amalio feels unusually oaky, as perhaps the riper year made the wine take the oak in a stronger way. It's a classical, ripe, powerful and generously oaked Tempranillo with concentration from old vines. A powerful red to lay in bottle or to have with powerful food. 3,320 bottles were filled in May 2016.
