Full stoppered bottle 1,236 g. Very pale greenish copper colour. This is a silly price for a 12-year-old wine even if it is very slightly musty on the nose. But it's absolutely delightful on the palate and tastes even more than 12 years old! Dry finish but a beguiling nuttiness on the palate. Long with some richness on the finish. This would, as the back label suggests, go well with many main courses, certain cheeses and, of course, the sweet fattiness of good jamón . Scrumptious. VGV (JR)

100% Palomino, hand-harvested and aged for 12 years. Winemaker Antonio Flores. RS 6 g/l. Glowing orange. Off dry and a little dusty and old. Quite a sharp finish. (JR)
12 years old. Orangey pale tawny. A little lighter than some Palo Cortados. But refreshing and nicely balanced. A sort of aperitif Palo Cortado. Dry and energetic. Grainy and racy. Transparent. Very well judged. (JR)
12 Year Old Seco. Burnished gold. Gorgeously nutty aroma with a reduction of slightly sour apricots. Tangy but with a rounded biscuity – vanilla? – character on the palate without the sweetness. Very difficult to describe. Tight, fresh and spiced on the finish. Delicious and VVGV . Bone dry, unlike some Palo Cortado. Cries out for hard cheese such as Comté. (JH)
