2000 Crocker & Starr Cabernet Franc

Deep ruby-red. Aromas of blueberry, cassis, black licorice and shoe polish. A fresh, juicy midweight, with black fruit and licorice flavors of moderate depth and a rather suave texture. Finishes rather cool and minty, with light, fine tannins. Its bright acids should make this a flexible food wine.
