Bright ruby-red. Musky redcurrant, tobacco, underbrush and earth on the nose, plus hints of fresh herbs and licorice. In a juicy, tangy style but with slightly green acidity giving the redcurrant and mint flavors a somewhat pinched character. There's good intensity here but the wine finishes with slightly drying tannins.
