Deep red-ruby. Perfumed, flamboyant, floral aromas of cherry, raspberry and cassis, complicated by notes of brown spices and toffee. Seamless, sweet and dense, with great intensity and depth of flavor. Dominated by sweet, superripe fruit and oak today, but the spice and toffee notes repeat on the palate. The solid structure is hidden by sheer material. Impressive, expanding aftertaste. Compelling California merlot.
