2000 Green & Red Vineyard Zinfandel Chiles Mill Vineyard

Deep red-ruby color. Black cherry, dark berries, mint and spices on the slightly musky nose. Fresh and tightly wound, with more intensity and spine than the basic Napa bottling. Has guts but avoids hardness. Tannins are firm and ripe. Just lacks the sweetness and grip for outstanding, but this wine may well put on weight with a couple years of bottle aging.
