Note di degustazione
Coming from a site in Carneros and brought up in 80% new oak, the 2018 Pinot Noir Single-Block Reserve West Slope has a darker fruited, smoky nose that offers plenty of brambly herbs and earthy nuances. It’s medium to full-bodied and has seamless texture as well as nicely integrated acidity. It’s beautiful, with a soft, already approachable style I suspect is best enjoyed over the coming 4-6 years.

The 2018 West Slope Pinot Noir has a medium ruby color and takes its time to open. Tar and tobacco leaf give way to crushed berries with undertones of earth and dried herbs. The palate is firmer and more serious, with earth-laced fruits and a long, nuanced finish. This will benefit from another couple of years in bottle.
