2021 Bedrock Grenache Gambrels of the Sky

The 2021 Gambrels of the Sky is 100% Grenache from Rancho Real, in Santa Maria. Bright and aromatic, the 2021 opens with scents of sweet red cherry, spice, blood orange and mint. There's lovely purity here. If I have to nit pick, I would say the generous use of whole clusters masks some of the purity and freshness of the fruit. Then again, this is a barrel sample, so we will see.
