2000 Wolf Family Cabernet Sauvignon Estate

Dark red-ruby. Sappy aromas of currant, raspberry, maple syrup, loam and dark chocolate, plus a whiff of 2000 vegetility. Offers good intensity and sweetness, with flavors of blackberry, currant, licorice and fresh herbs. Can't quite avoid the greenness of this vintage, but, based on its rather suave texture, balance and vinosity, this appears to be a producer to watch. Finishes firmly tannic but not dry.
