Vivid scarlet. Displays an array of ripe red fruit, blood orange, floral and exotic spice scents that are complemented by suggestions of smoky minerals and incense. Stains the palate with sappy, spice-laced redcurrant, cherry and raspberry flavors that show superb depth with no excess fat. Takes a sweeter turn on the finish, which shows outstanding tenacity, slow-mounting tannins and an emphatic whiplash of sweet red fruit and candied flowers.
