The similarly-colored 1998 Chambertin Clos de Beze Reserve reveals baked, yet bright fruit aromas. Masculine, extremely concentrated and powerful, it possesses a highly expressive blackberry, licorice, and kirsch flavored personality. This muscular wine should be at its best between 2002 and 2009.
