Note di degustazione
Matured for 19 months in 100% new French oak, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III has alluring scents of cassis, blueberry preserves, graphite, tobacco and soaring violet perfume. The full-bodied palate features Goldilocks ripeness and a seamless structure of ripe, dusty tannins. It’s balanced by vibrant acidity and has a very long finish laced with latent, spicy accents. It should be long lived in the cellar. 555 cases were made.

An inky purple/black hue, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard is youthful on the nose, with aromas of sweet tobacco, blackcurrants, mocha, dark soil, leather, and pressed violets. The palate is full and long, with refined, elegant tannins, even acidity, and a floating feel through the finish. It’s a lovely wine all around and will drink well over the next 20 years. These are the spring releases from Williams-Selyem and were tasted with Vice President and Director of Winemaking Jeff Mangahas at the estate in the Russian River Valley.
