2018 Seaver Cabernet Sauvignon GTS

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon GTS is remarkably elegant, especially for the appellation. This well-exposed site at around 1,600 feet allows for full ripening of tannins. Medium in body and gracious, with superb balance, the GTS Cabernet is terrific in 2018. Crème de cassis, lavender, dried herbs, spice and new leather are all laced into the silky, polished finish, which is where the mountain origins are felt most. Hints of graphite, scorched earth and cassis linger nicely.
