Seaver's 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon GTS has all of the signatures of this site, but in a more medium-bodied style than is typically the case. Incense, savory herbs, crushed rocks and flowers add complexity as the 2011 opens up in the glass. The 2011 impresses for its balance and persistence.

Seaver’s 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon GTS has all of the signatures of this site, but in a more medium-bodied style than is typically the case. Incense, savory herbs, crushed rocks and flowers add complexity as the 2011 opens up in the glass. The 2011 impresses for its balance and persistence. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2026. Winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown has done a fabulous job with these two Cabernets from Tom and Nancy Seaver. The 2010 is just as impressive as it was from barrel, while the 2011 is a solid effort for the year. The estate is located on Diamond Mountain, about 800 feet above the valley floor. Tel.
