The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Lot. 1 is Louis Martini's top Cabernet bottling. Ripe and yet also light on its feet for such a rich wine, the 2015 possesses terrific aromatic intensity that give lift as well as energy. Blueberry jam, new leather, spice, licorice, menthol and dried flowers all run through this super-expressive, resonant Cabernet Sauvignon. There is plenty to like.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Lot 1 has a nose of crème de cassis, chocolate box, cedar chest, bay leaves, Chinese five spice and menthol with a hint of charcuterie. Medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy with a bit of chewiness, it's spicy with appealing freshness, finishing layered and very long. 1,075 cases were made.
