Note di degustazione
(from vines in Chabiots, Chatelots and Sentiers; vinified with 50% whole clusters): Brilliant, saturated red-ruby. Precise, high-pitched aromas of blackberry, cassis, violet, licorice and minerals show a subtly wild character. Then plush, supple and sweet in the mouth, stuffed with fruit and saline flavors. Conveys a higher-pH impression than the Morey Faconnières and Chenevery, coming across as more evolved and with less inner-mouth tension.

The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru is 80% whole cluster and is a blend of three vineyards: Les Chabiot, Les Chatelot and Les Sentiers. It has a clean and precise, quite mineral-driven bouquet that suffuses that black cherry and blueberry fruit. The palate is very harmonious with fine tannin, lovely acidity here lending freshness, but there are layers of black and red, tensile fruit interlayered over the finish that fans out with conviction. This comes highly recommended.
