2015 Fattoria La Monacesca Camerte

The La Monacesca 2015 Camerte is an easy blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Merlot that goes into barrique for two years before its commercial release. This is a ripe and fruit-forward expression with black and purple fruit aromas followed by well-integrated spice and barbecue smoke. Try this well-priced Italian red with a plate of grilled sausages. Some 20,000 bottles were made.
