Deep garnet-purple, the 2016 Estate ‘Alluvial Selection’ Cabernet Sauvignon comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant crème de cassis, chocolate-covered cherries, charcoal and menthol scents with touches of garrigue, smoked meats and roasted nuts. Full-bodied, concentrated and with wonderful brightness in the mouth, it has a fantastic line of finely grained tannins and a long, mint-laced finish.
