Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2015 Pinot Noir Mononi Vineyard has a very pretty nose of cranberries, raspberries and rhubarb with a floral undercurrent of roses and lavender plus a waft of underbrush. Medium-bodied, it has a solid frame of fine grained tannins and wonderful freshness supporting the vibrant red berry and earthy layers, finishing long and perfumed. 416 cases were made.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Mononi Vineyard is a big, ample wine. Sweet red cherry, game, leather, licorice, tobacco and smoke, along with the wine's large-scaled frame, give the wine its distinctive personality. There is a fair amount of brawn here. This is a decidedly bold, rustic style.
