2016 Chambolle Musigny Les Feusselottes

Bright medium red. Initially a bit mute following the Côte de Beaune wines but aeration brought aromas of red raspberry, red licorice and summer flowers. Moderately ripe on the palate, with black cherry and herb flavors in need of time in bottle to expand. Finishes with slightly drying tannins and a licorice nuance. Losses to the frost were minor here, according to owner Patrick Landanger.
