2019 Pommard Les Argillières 1er Cru

The 2019 Pommard Les Argillières 1er Cru includes 10% whole clusters and matured in 40% new French oak. It has a more open-knit and expressive bouquet with red cherries, strawberry, orange rind and a touch of crushed stone. The palate is very elegant and graceful with supple tannins, the red fruit merging with blacker fruit towards the finish with a dusting of cocoa from the oak. That will need time to be assimilated, so give it 2-3 years in bottle.
