Note di degustazione
A deep, dense wine, the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Special Family Reserve boasts fabulous texture and resonance. The flavors are dark, bold and incisive, with hints of mocha and spice that add expressive dimensions of complexity. The 2012 can be drunk young, but it will be even better with a few more years in bottle.

Attractive plum, red and black currants with good acidity, are present in the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Meteor Special Family Reserve. It’s medium-bodied, elegant and represents a rather fragrant, restrained style of Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. It should take several years of bottle age to round into shape, and last for 12-15 years.
(all clone 7; like the 2012 Perseid, this is aging in about 70% new oak): Deep, bright red. Sexy aromas of red raspberry, licorice, graphite and coffee. Lush, sweet and suave; distinctly denser than the Perseid, with very pure blackberry and raspberry flavors complicated by a musky floral element and attractive oak notes. This shows almost cabernet franc-like lift but it's all sauvignon. Finishes with a firm tannic backbone and complex suggestions of espresso and herbs. Very claret-like in its texture and not at all overdone.
