The 2015 Zinfandel Zampatti Vineyard is powerful, rich and authoritative. Sweet, perfumed and exceptionally vivid, the 2015 is layered and exquisite from start to finish Succulent black cherry, menthol, licorice and spice are front and center. Even with all of its depth, the 2015 retains considerable freshness and aromatic nuance. The 2015 is powerful and rich, but without being heavy. It is also one of the clear highlights in the range. This vineyard, on volcanic soils in the middle of Santa Rosa, yielded a wine of true distinction in 2015.
