Punteggio 98/100 · Da bere 2035-2051, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2025

The tiny production 2021 INEO is based on 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot, all of which spent 22 months in 72% new French oak. It's another blockbuster effort from this estate that sports a dense purple hue as well as intense, full-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe black fruits, truffly earth, chocolate, sweet tobacco, and flowery, baking spice-like nuances. This fleshy, expansive, straight-up opulent 2021 has plenty of underlying tannins, a dense mid-palate, no hard edges, and a gorgeous finish. It comes across as a bigger, richer wine compared to the slightly more focused, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. It's going to take a solid decade for this to shed its baby fat, and it should have at least 30 years of overall longevity.

Punteggio 97/100 · Da bere 2026-2041, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2023

Just bottled, the 2021 Ineo is stellar. Inky dark fruit, chocolate, spice, new leather, licorice and graphite are all amplified in a rich, unctuous Napa Valley red that marries hedonistic pleasure and intellectual nuance. Soft, plush contours wrap it all together. This is an exceptional vintage for Ineo. This year, the blend features 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, whereas most vintages have been built on a core Cabernet Sauvignon/Franc blend. Production is just 50 cases.
