2021 Laurence Graff Reserve

The 2021 Laurence Graff Reserve comprises a selection of nine barrels. This vintage contains 80% new oak and it is matured for 18 months. It has a mixture of red and black fruit on the nose, touches of mint and brown spices, well defined and handling the new wood well. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins. The acidity is very well judged here and winemaker Morné Vrey manages to retain a sense of refinement towards the finish. This is a well-crafted Cabernet, sleek and sophisticated.
