1995 Vina Tondonia Reserva

Good youthful medium red. Cherry and nuts on the nose, with a hint of apple and a suggestion of peaty Islay scotch. Sweet and gentle yet penetrating, with intense plum, currant and tobacco flavors enlivened by harmonious acidity. Wonderfully subtle on the back end, with terrific acids extending the wine's fruit and giving it excellent grip.
