1995 A. Rafanelli Zinfandel Unfiltered

Rafanelli has made so many gorgeous Zinfandels it is hard to say this is one of their finest, but, wow, I was knocked out by the opaque purple color, as well as the gorgeously pure display of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry fruit. Full-bodied, with no hard edges, a voluptuous texture, and layers of fruit, this is a delicious, full-throttle, impeccably well-balanced wine that should drink well for another 6-7 years.
