Bright, light yellow. Restrained, slightly metallic aromas of pineapple, grapefruit and peach. The palate displays almost riesling-like cut to the juicy, floral fruit. There's a citrussy element here but the wine is neither green nor grassy. Finishes quite dry, with a mineral component. Done entirely in tank.

A new offering, the stainless steel-fermented and aged 2009 Sauvignon Blanc offers up scents of gun flint and grapefruit in a crisp, lively, non-malolactic style. Drink it over the next 1-2 years. Some time ago Bo Barrett and his dad, Jim, decided that they needed to produce a less expensive, more supple textured Cabernet Sauvignon for consumers and restaurants looking for immediate gratification.
