2007 Stolpman La Croce

Their co-fermented blend of Syrah and Sangiovese, La Croce Proprietary Red, is typically a very seductive style of wine. The 2007 is still primary, but it reveals abundant fruit as well as a beautiful sweet jammy strawberry and berry fruit-scented nose with hints of new saddle leather, tobacco leaf, and spice in the background. It is the estate’s most endearing offering for early drinking. Stolpman Vineyards continues to produce impressive wines under the guidance of the highly regarded Santa Ynez winemaker, Sashi Moorman.
