Note di degustazione
Chateau de Vaudieu’s 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Val de Dieu has a full bore, ripe and roasted bouquet of roasted herbs, pan drippings, black licorice and toasted nuts. Made from 45% Grenache, 45% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre that was aged 18 months in 38% barrels (23% being new) and the rest in concrete tank, it’s medium to full-bodied, voluptuous and sexy, with tons of fruit and texture. The bouquet won’t be for everyone due to its roasted qualities, but it’s still lively and fresh on the palate. Drink bottles over the coming 2-4 years.

Deep red. Spicy red berry aromas are brightened by zesty mineral and floral qualities. Fresh strawberry and raspberry flavors are finely etched and firmed by dusty tannins. A clean, elegant midweight with impressive balance and finishing clarity.
