2020 Linne Calodo Cherry Red

The 2015 Cherry Red seduces with its wildly fresh blend of bright strawberry, cherry, dusty rose and black tea leaves. This is velvety smooth and polished in feel with masses of tart wild berry fruits that drench the palate with youthful concentration. The slightest flourish of oak spice punctuates the finish as cola and lavender nuances mingle throughout the long and classically structured finale. The Cherry Red is a blend of 68% Zinfandel, 18% Syrah, 12% Mourvèdre and 2% Tempranillo that refines for seventeen months in a combination of 500-liter puncheons and 265-liter American oak barrels (20% total new oak).
