Sweet herbs and cola transform into a more serious blend of incense, dried strawberries and cloves as the 2021 Overthinker dazzles the senses. This is racy and sleek with a beautiful balance of ultra-ripe fruit and cooling acidity as contrasts of crunchy minerals and hints of blood orange amass toward the close. Dramatically long and staining, the entire palate is left drenched in primary concentration as an air of sweet lavender slowly fades. This is a perfectly balanced and utterly stunning blend of 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre.

The 2021 Overthinker is composed of 65% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. It has layered aromas of blackberry, blueberry, orange peel, pipe tobacco and star anise with earthy undertones. The medium-bodied palate has a fragrant core of fruit framed by abundant, chalky tannins, and fireworks of fresh acidity highlight floral perfume that emerges on the long finish.
